Heat olive oil over medium heat in a 12-inch skillet. Cook and stir beef until brown, about 10 minutes. Add 4 cups water and remaining ingredients. Stir and heat to boiling; reduce heat, cover, and simmer 1 hour. If desired, stir in chopped green peppers, sliced okra, or peas. Heat through about 10 minutes or until added vegetables are tender.
Serves 6-8
